Maserati to unveil special Quattroporte, Levante on August 14
Luxury carmaker Maserati will be unveiling exclusive editions of its Quattroporte sedan/saloon and Levante SUV at the Monterey Car Week kicking off on August 14, 2019. Each one will emerge next spring in a series of 50, and the prices remain unannounced.
One of the main features of both special series is the PELLETESSUTA leather cabin trim, essentially braided from thin strips of Nappa leather. The process is reminiscent of creating hand-woven fabrics, but with leather used instead of yarn. Maserati says the material is exclusive by automotive industry standards and highly durable while extremely lightweight.
On the outside, the Quattroporte S Q4 GrandLusso will sport a Blu Sofisticato livery echoed by matching brake calipers. The Levante S GranSport will wear a Bronzo Textile hue. The sedan will be brown on the inside, while the SUV will be predominantly black.
There has been no video from the manufacturer, so we are offering you another short glimpse at the classical Quattroporte.
