Next-gen Nissan Note scheduled for Japan launch in mid-2020

The current generation of the Nissan Note mini-hatchback/MPV came out in 2012 and received its mid-generational refresh in 2016. Two years later, the model ascended the Hall of Fame as a bestseller in Japan, which prompted Nissan to look into launching a new generation.
The Note family will soon be getting a long-wheelbase body version with sliding doors at the back. It will continue to ship with the same e-POWER hybrid system made up of a 1.2-liter gas engine and an electric motor, and customers will be able to choose between FWD and AWD.
The exterior of the 2020 Nissan Note will undergo a major redesign as well, the likely additions including a larger radiator grille and V-shaped LED headlights spanning almost as far as the windshield.
